WEYLAN ISLAND

This is one of my favorite outings of our trips, so I'm starting here. We headed to Lincoln City one of our last days and it was way too windy to enjoy. Good thing Aunt Carla was with us...she led us to Weylan Island, near Sand Lake & Pacific City. It's a pretty little hike through the forest, and you arrive here:

Mom, Grandma, H, K, Val packing Katie. I love, love, love that my 80 year old Grandma can still go on little hikes with us. This is a new family fav for sure! Great beach, forest right there, hardly any people & the water was nice & calm for the kiddies.

Ore-gone!

Every summer we go home, to beautiful Oregon where Ben & I were both raised. We typically stay a few weeks, but this time it was closer to a month.We packed A TON of fun in and fell in love with home & family all over again. I took a much needed break from the computer, so instead of blogging my life away, I'll just record tidbits from our getaway & post a lot of pics. This way the daunting becomes doable.
