K brought otter pops for his class at school. |

He scored the Lego Batcave. |

Kaleb's birthday was so much fun! I made him cinnamon rolls for his breakfast, ate lunch with him at school, and we went to Barros & Baskin Robbins for dinner & dessert. He could hardly wait to open presents that morning and even let Ruby help a little He got lots of legos, a few books, and a mario pair of swim trunks that were too big. He loved everything and was so sweet to share with the kiddos! I also hid a "Mom & Me" notebook under his pillow and wrote him a letter about when he was born. I'm still waiting for him to write me back...such a boy!

So excited about all his many gifts! |

Ben made the graphics for the goodie bags, I made the coin box invites, and K bagged and delivered them all. We had fake mustaches, more coins, mario pens/stickers/ fruit snacks & star bubbles inside. |
We partied with his friends on Saturday... a Mario Water World swim party. He loved his invitations and making his goody bags. He also helped me make a pinata and draw in the eyes on the star helium balloons for table decor. All his friends who live in Maricopa were able to join us. It was great! About half of his friends he's had since he was in nursery. He was spoiled by friends and family near and far.

ALL ABOUT KALEB
Kaleb's really tall for his age. He's also very athletic and loves soccer and football. I'm hoping he'll really love basketball and baseball, too. Kaleb is a very heathy eater, but has a big sweet tooth, too! His favorite time of year is summer. He loves to swim, eat corn on the cob, watermelon and peaches. K's really getting into legos and can build even the more complicated ones by himself now. He loves the Sunday Comics, Calvin and Hobbes, animal nonfiction, drawing, and math. He also loves super heroes, playing spies, and Ninjago. We just started letting him watch big boy super hero movies and today he dressed up as Hawkeye after church. Kaleb likes to sing, dance & rock out in the car. We often play Name That Tune on our way to school and stop at Sonic on the way back. His idea, not mine, I promise! His favorite drink is rootbeer. Kaleb loves school and learning. This week he gets to be the teacher for a bit and will teach his class the nines multiplication trick. K's also one of the friendliest little boys I know. He loves being a big brother and talks in a special voice when he's helping Ruby. He has a twinkle in his eye that reminds me of my Grandpa Branson. Whenever I snuggle him at bedtime, he still twirls my hair. Dylan really is his best friend. They have the most fun together!
