Ranch Tooth

So we've been dieting lately and in an effort to keep food fun for us, I've been trying new recipes each week. For some reason two weeks in a row, my new fav. has had ranch as a main ingredient. It reminds me of that dumb "ranch tooth" commercial. Anyway, thanks EG for the yummy recipe and Stacie & Monica for compiling our fabulous M4 cookbook! :)

Lion House Ranch Chicken

4-6 chicken breasts
3/4 c. crushed corn flakes (I used total whole wheat flakes)
1/2 c. melted butter (I used egg white)
ranch dressing dry packet

Mix the ranch dressing packet with the crushed cereal flakes. Dip your chicken in the egg white, then the cereal/ranch mix and place on a sprayed baking dish. Bake at 350 for 40-45 min. ENJOY!!!

Sounds really yummy. I think I will try it. I too have been dieting and it is so hard because I just love to eat! But I love all the lowfat 100 calorie things they have now. Helps get rid of that craving.

I love that recipe too! You can also use low fat or fat-free ranch dressing, then skip the egg. Nice dipped in BBQ sauce. Try sweet potato fries on the side. Yum, I'm hungry.

Sary,
Thanks, that sounds really good and I think I will give it try with those sweet potato fries Robyn mentions.

I love good recipes...especially the ones that have only a few ingredients and I don't have to spend too much time in the kitchen. Way to go on the dieting! You inspire me!
