Last Sunday we were able to have Ruby blessed (similar to a christening) in church by her loving father. It was a very sweet and special day! Ruby Abigail Rae Murdock received many wonderful promises in her blessing. The ones that stood out to me were that she'd continue to have her calm and peaceful demeanor, that she would develop a compassionate heart, and that she would prepare herself to be married in the temple to a worthy companion. Besides her father, my Uncle Terry was able to stand in the circle and help with the blessing, as well as Br. Parham & Bishop Jones.
Ruby looked so beautiful, all dolled up, and wearing the gown my mom made for me when I was blessed as an infant by my father many years ago. Her vintage look was topped off with an over-sized ivory flower headband, a pearl & crystal bracelet, and a special blanket trimmed in pink scallops, crocheted by her Grandma Murdock. (Can you tell I've been watching Project Runway this fall? ;)

Adorable! I love the repeating of the Rae name and her wearing your blessing dress. So cute! I'm sad we missed her blessing being out of town. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. :o)
I'm so glad you are posting so many pictures of your new little angel...since I don't get to be there to see her!
That dress is so cute on her!
You look great too, Sara!
Oh...I'm just so happy for you!
She is so so so sweet! I love how you are doting on her and attending to every little detail. God knew you needed a little girl too.
The boys look handsome in their ties too!
You are priceless as always my Sara Rae:)
Merry Christmas, hugs, Stef
If anyone is going to teach little Ruby how to be compassionate, she's got the perfect example of her mommy! You guys are such a darling family. Much love! I'm so glad you got your little Violet to add to your Incredible family! :-) (Play on words intended :-)
