One relatively sleepless night later and I wake to a phone call from my mom. She's cutting in & out & I can hardly understand a word she's saying. Terra's been in a car accident, hit head on by a drunk driver. She's stable, but will be okay. The drunk driver is in a coma, and nameless, probably an illegal alien. (This is a hot topic in AZ right now.)
Life as normal is anything but normal, I'm learning. I take for granted so many things, most especially those that mean the most to me. Life is so precious.

Oh man I am glad she is ok! Poor thing. Just wanted to say hi and that Ruby is a doll and looks so much like you! Hope your doing good I miss seeing ya! Take care.

It's hard to take things for granted. I had a friend who was killed by a drunk driver. It's horrible! I am so thankful this time that she is ok. This will make me think more about all my blessings.
