The day had ALMOST arrived, but it landed on a Sunday, so we celebrated with a few friends and family at a bowling alley the day before. We were so fortunate to have Papa and Grandma Stock here for the birthday weekend. Uncle Rog, Uncle Randy & the cousins came, too.
Yay for family! :)

This was our easiest most successful party we've had for K so far. The bowing alley had the cosmic lights and music going, so even for the little ones it was fun. There was lots of dancing, candy, and silliness while they waited for their turns. We bowled about half a game, stopped for pizza, then finished it up. The spiderman chocolate cupcakes and goodie bags were a hit, especially the whoopy cushions.
Whoopy cushions + my little boys = hysterical laughter! K was completely spoiled with boy gifts galore...fun games, nerf guns enough to arm a small army, bakugans, legos, and more. We finished the afternoon at Valle Luna and the Salsa festival that night. Salsa, bounce houses, light up swords, and more!

Best buds!
K's real birthday started off with gifts from us, and the surprise DS was a huge hit!
We had K's favorite, homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then headed to church. Afterward K & Papa played dominoes and we had more of Kaleb's favorites: grilled chicken on the bone, corn on the cob, fruit salad and birthday cake with icecream. YUM! At the end of the day I asked him how it felt to finally be six and he said, "HAPPY!" Love him!
Silly faces! Ruby had to get in on the fun.
Kaleb's stats at 6 years old: 57 pounds
Loves: school, friends, soccer, video games, reading, basketball, swimming, fruit snacks, chocolate, apple jacks, fruit, making silly faces, helping others, blue, yogurt, fishing, drawing, summer for the produce; especially watermelon, plums, peaches and corn on the cob.
Likes: tag, primary, pizza, and Taco Bell...he claims they have better quesadillas than I make at home!
Celebrating with his kindi class, Ruby may have outstaged her bro.

A special gift from Aunt Carly
Meet the future Tiger Kaleb!

I got K's thank you postcard. Soooo funny. Tell him GOOD JOB!!! Allan cracke up at his drawing. K almost looks happier holding a surprise box that's bigger than him!!! Glad he liked it. I'll be cutting down my old clubs for him someday, I'm sure!!
