Well since I'm back-logging, I'll keep this short & sweet. We found a new pumpkin patch in our neck of the woods. We took Mom & met Randy & fam there. We also ran into the Snows from our Maricopa ward. So fun! Ruby, Dylan & Ayden went for horse rides. We met the rest of our fam at home for chili & cornbread....yum! Oh, and apple cider & pumpkin cookies of course.
We took candy corn to the next level!
Inspiration: Alisha Boyles, Ruby helped me paint the wood.
Zombie prom queen & cheerleader for Jenny's ward party/ our fhe of fun together!
More crafties I made this year.
Ghost eyes on Ruby's toes.
Ben's teenage dream come true!
Ruby's second Halloween, Princess Rapuzel & Mother Gothel.
Ninjago!
We packed in as much fun as we could in one day/night known as All Hallow's Eve. The littles & I joined Taryn & her kids at the pumpkin patch that day & K had a school party, followed by us getting dressed up to go to Ben's work & trick or treat around all the cubicles in his office, followed by a neighborhood block party, followed by trick or treating with the cousins & dropping in on Aunt Judy, Uncle Rog & Jenny's fam. It's their fav. holiday, and we love it, too. Aunt Judy always hands out huge candy bars & the kids LOVED that! The boys were all ninjas from Ninjago and Ben was Sensei Wu. Ruby and I were the daughter & mean mom from Tangled, Rapunzel & Mother Gothel. Never have I ever related more to a Disney fairytale character, the insatiable quest for youth, "Mother Knows Best" anthem, and the "I love you more" sound eerily familiar. Ruby was/is the prettiest princess ever and the boys had so much fun with the homemade "weapons" of choice, which Ben helped them make, & spray painting their hair. And after only 11 years of marriage, I finally figured out how to get Ben to dress up without grumbling. Any costume from here on out must involve facial hair. The end. :)
